Trust in Christ for salvation
totally must not be on anything other than Christ,
otherwise, it is not faith in Christ at all.
Faith in Christ comes only from him,
and is for him to be righteous for us
forever in our stead for salvation.
The real Biblical Gospel,
the Reformation Gospel,
it is at this point the poster directs us to follow man. the Reformation is nothing... the Word oftotally must not be on anything other than Christ,
otherwise, it is not faith in Christ at all.
Faith in Christ comes only from him,
and is for him to be righteous for us
forever in our stead for salvation.
The real Biblical Gospel,
the Reformation Gospel,
God is found in Holy Scripture... not the Reformation which is man's work.
as God declares in no uncertain terms... " Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in
man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. " Jer.17:5
according to this poster only agreeing with the Reformation could possibly result in salvation.
eerrr... which of the many, many " gospels " coming out of the Reformation is the poster referring
to ?
he used to refer us to Lutheranism... but now, who knows ? ... just pick any one of the Reformation
gospels... use the Name " Christ " and " faith " and follow the Reformers and your salvation is made
sure.
this is the outcome when we follow denominational traditions of men of which the Reformation is
famous. might as well just pay for forgiveness of sins like the idol worshipers... either / or is
just as much the traditions of men.
Christ lived for us, died for us, and rose again,
to save us by giving us the faith to trust him
to be righteous for us in our stead forever
so he accounts his own righteousness
and victory as though ours.
(John 1:29,36, 3:12-16, 14:1-6, 16:7-16,33,
Romans 1:16-17, 3:22-26, 4:3-8, 20-25, 5:15-21,
1 Corinthians 1:30, 2 Corinthians 5:21,
Ephesians 2:8, 2 Peter 1:1)
The popular so-called "gospels" of today
divide trust between Christ and self,
and trust self to be righteous "enough",
are not the real Gospel, and save no one at all.
People need to get back to the real Biblical Gospel
where faith from Christ trusts only him to be
Christ gives us faith
(Ephesians 2:8, 2 Peter 1:1)
while we are yet ungodly sinners
(Romans 3:9-12,19, 4:5, 5:6,8, 11:32, Galatians 3:22)
that trusts him to be righteous for us for salvation
(Romans 1:16-17, 3:22-23, 4:3-6,11,20-25, 5:17-19,
1 Corinthians 1:30, 2 Corinthians 5:21,
Galatians 2:16, Philippians 3:9)
and that totally excludes all trust in
our own so-called "righteousness"
(Romans 3:27, 4:2,5,14,16, 10:3, 11:6,
1 Corinthians 1:29,31,
Galatians 2:21, 3:3,12,18,21, 5:2,4,
Ephesians 2:8-9, Philippians 3:3-4,7-9,
2 Timothy 1:9, Titus 3:4-7, Hebrews 4:10).

as per usual, we read " Christ gives us faith while we are yet ungodly sinners. " this is an outto save us by giving us the faith to trust him
to be righteous for us in our stead forever

and out bold faced lie. even by the way the poster frames the sentence we see that all the faith in
the world does not bring anyone to salvation since to be " ungodly " is to be under the wrath of
God... to be dead in sin, Eph.2:1-3.
from there, we who are among the elect are given life, v:5, and the good works of faith follow,
v.10... such is salvation the way God tells us He saves.
the dead do not respond to the Living God until and unless God first gives them life, Acts 13:48;
Jn.3:3. the many Reformation " gospels " as well as the poster disagree with God first raising the
spiritually dead out of bondage to Satan, sin and death... he never speaks to this because such
would be to take control of salvation out of his hands and give it to God alone to save whom He
willed to save from eternity past, Eph.1:3-14.
his careless use of the word " faith " and " trust " do not include those passages of Holy Scripture
which tells us that " faith " is a work, 1 Thes.1:3, and that " trust " is a work, Ps.37:3.
so just pick any one of the many, many gospels which came out of the Reformation and play the game
the poster makes salvation out to be. his subject line never makes a bit of sense as his gospels of
the Reformation.
