The idea of an " Ice Age " is just another fool hardy attempt to say there was no Biblical Flood
brought on by God. The religion of Atheism is based on various schemes all designed to take God out
of Creation and Judgement against the evils of humanity... man's inhumanity towards his fellow man
can be seen in Nazism, Communism, Fascism, Imperialism... the promotion of religion through murder
of the body and of the soul and countless other atrocities on a mass scale. Such it is when the
religion of Atheism changes the evidence of the Flood to that of an Ice Age.
Atheism is a religion as such which promotes hopelessness, Eph.2:12.
Using Mount Everest as a model we can get a picture of what really happened during the Flood of
Noah's day. To completely cover Mt. Everest with water in the 40 days and nights of the Flood the
earth had to ' fill up ' by at least 360 inches of water an hour. The Word of God tells us that it
not only rained but the " fountains of the great deep burst open. " The earth, up until the day of
the Flood, never saw rain but was watered by a mist... a fog, Gen.2:5,6, obviously at night so the
Rainbow was never seen until after the Flood.
We've all seen videos of flash floods in the news. Three inches of rain an hour falling on high
ground brings torrents of water down as the water's move toward lower elevations. What are 360
inches of rain like per hour... ? and the fountains of the deep bursting open flooding the earth for
a duration of 40 days and nights ?
In the Flood the dinosaurs perished along with man... man, who God declares holds only evil in his
heart, Gen.6:5. Wherever loose soil lay it was washed away to lower grounds quickly burying all of
the ancient creatures we find petrified in sedimentary rock today. We find meat eating dinosaurs
pooled together with plant eaters which makes no sense at all should they have been killed off by a
slow moving Ice Age... quick burial under saturated ground is how fossils occur... 360 inches of
water filling up the earth per hour is obviously enough to have done the job.
The ridiculous notion that a fantastically large meteor hit the Yucatan Peninsula thus bringing on
an Ice Age is the Atheists usual scientific approach to explain away what they have no proof of at
all.
All of their " proof " is conjecture and everybody knows it... if there was no God they wouldn't get
angry at and curse those who prove there is. The " proof there is " concerning God's existence
resides in the heart of every person possessing rational thought, Ro.1:18 and following. The
Creationist knows that and the Atheist knows that.
Smooth boulders of enormous size are found perched atop smooth rock laying on top of the ground in
Canada, for example, which the Atheists claim got there by being dragged along by Ice Age glacier's
but the Creationist knows full well that the power of fast moving flood water's do the same thing.
Besides that, rock ground smooth by fast moving water's carrying grit is found way beyond the
boundary of where the Atheist claims the Ice Age glaciers reached.
Because the age of the earth from Adam to the Flood was 6023 years concluded with pen and paper from
Gen.5 and 6, and because it is not for us to know all of the details of what the earth looked like
before the Flood it is certainly rash to simply conclude with the Atheists that the earth is
millions of earths in the making. No, it was made in 6 days. It was never millions of degrees nor
a toxic soup which conveniently cooled down and brought life out of non-living Elements of the
Periodic Table from which God made all things. Life is not of the world, this realm... life is in
the Living God.
With God we have black and white and also hope. With Atheists we have nothing but gray and no hope.
Unsubstantiated " facts " of what they want a Godless, purposeless existence to be from
self-created life via non-living Elements is their best shot at an existence born from Atheist
guesses.
When we see the Rainbow we have God's promise to never again destroy the earth and all of the wicked
in it by another globe flood. The next and final Judgement upon man and this world is reserved for
the global firestorm of 2 Pet. 3:7 " But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same
word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly
men."
