Celebrating of holidays
The great Holidays, Christmas, Easter and the Pentecost do
not be celebrated according to the Bible.
The Bible says nothing about celebrating of Christmas. None
know which day or month Jesus was born. No bible word
gives any hint of that the first Christians celebrated Jesus'
birthday as a holiday.
Most of people's celebrating of Christmas has nothing to do
with the birthday of Jesus. They do it for their own pleasure.
The Christmas tree, the Christmas pig, Christmas ham, Lucia,
Santa Claus and many ridiculous songs, what has this to do
with the birthday of Jesus?
The Holiday of Easter (Passover), they have distorted beyond
recognition.
That Jesus was crucified on a Friday, it is a lie of the church.
Jesus was crucified on the Passover day, and it was a Wednesday.
At the evening the body of Jesus was laid in the grave. "And it
becoming evening already, since it was the preparation, that is,
the day before the Sabbath." Mark. 15:42. Thursday was the
Sabbath! For that Sabbath day was a high day. John 19:31.
The body of Jesus lay in the grave three days and three nights,
72 hours. Matt. 12:40. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If we
count Wednesday evening and 72 hours ahead, we come to
the Saturday evening. Accordingly, Jesus already ought to
resurrect Saturday evening.
What does Easter egg or Easter witches have to do with the
Passover?
The day of Pentecost is celebrated as a Holiday, as a memory
of Jesus' first disciples was baptized by the Holy Spirit.
However, what that happened the day of Pentecost is not only
an isolated phenomenon that happened a long time ago. It has
continued all the time since the days of the apostles. When
people convert to Jesus and believe in him, then Jesus baptizes
them by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit gives them the new life in
Christ so that they become born again.
No bible word gives any hint of that the first Christians
celebrated the day of Pentecost as a holiday, as a memory of
that the first disciples were baptized by the Holy Spirit. Such
celebrating is unnecessary and meaningless.
Yet, the baptism by the Holy Spirit is vital. The Spirit gives
us the new life in Christ and makes us to new creations in
Christ. 2 Cor. 5:17. In this way we enter the Assembly of
God. In the Assembly of God we are ALL baptized by the
Holy Spirit, not only those who are speaking with tongues.
1 Cor. 12:12-31.
Being members in the Assembly of God has nothing to do
with churches or denominations. When someone becomes born
again, then the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit work together.
The Father draws the sinner to Jesus. John 6:44. Jesus baptizes
by the Holy Spirit. John 1:33. The Spirit gives the new life in
Christ so that the sinner becomes born again. John 3:6-8.
Assistance of any church or any denomination is not necessary.
Churches and denominations have no part in the propitiatory
sacrifice of Jesus, and they can never be saved. Only people
can be saved.
The churches serve Satan and hinder people to understand
God's word. At the same time they appear as God's servants,
and entice people to think that the churches are from God.
Through celebrating the day of Pentecost as a holiday and
make it to only an empty ceremony, the churches divert their
attention so that they do not understand or think that the
baptism by the Holy Spirit is something for themselves to
experience, if they convert to Jesus and believe in him.
The churches rather want people to celebrate the day of
Pentecost as a holiday, than that they experience the baptism
by the Holy Spirit.
