Post by toolyPost by DareAre we "dropped" into each "now" moment anew to interact with what is...
shaping the emerging "now" moment?
(Heidegger's "thrownness"?)
We connect the dots don't we???
I'm getting older now; some things of life becoming apparent...but who
wants to spoil the ending for others [not that I've gotten to the very
last page yet]. Oh heck...WTF...my clue [if I have one]...keep your
innocense as long as possible. The PAST shapes my NOW more than I'd
like to admit.
I'm not exactly a "spring chicken" either....
I've found the relationship to memories of
the past to be a trade-off between wishing I
"didn't know now what I didn't know then" and
wishing "I'd known then what I know now."
Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a catastrophic break
to change old patterns and see life from a different perspective.
Last cliché: "you CAN teach an old dog new tricks"...
just takes some incentive(desire)?
