the English Bible word " found " as in Ro. 10:20 comes from the
Greek word ' heurisko ' and simply means ' to find the thing sought. '

as in the words of Jesus Christ, the Savior, " For the Son of Man
has come to seek and to save that which was lost. " Lk.19:10
the ' lost ' here in this verse refer to those whose names were
written in the Lambs Book of Life since before the foundation of the
world. whereas in Lk. 19:10 the Bible word ' lost ' refers to the
condition of the found before they were actually found of God.

this lost condition of man as expressed in the Greek language in
which it was written means, " render unless; to kill; to declare that
the lost one be put to death. "

this is the plight of all mankind since " all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God. " Ro. 3:23

unless ones name has been written in the Lambs Book of Life before
he was ever created, he will continue on in darkness of knowledge,
misery of existence, angry, arrogant, cursing everything along the
way, finally to meet God in Judgement.

the Savior came and comes for those who's names He's written in His
Book of Life. His atonement is strictly limited to those whom He has
recorded and no one else, as in Jn. chapter 10. the Fundamentalist
types have made a lie out of the Savior's atoning work in that they
say He paid for the sins of all.

this means of course everyone is saved... the good and the bad are
equally redeemed. Hitler and the Apostle Paul have the same earthly
demonstration of character as doing God's work... the Catholics and
the Islams are just as saved as Judas Iscariot. not hardly according
to the Bible.

the elect, that is, those who's names are written in the Lambs Book
of Life, are called into Light through the Gospel, the good news. the
preaching of this good news calls the elect into Christ's redemption
while it exposes those passed by to receive Christ's redemption.
Acts 13:46-48

these elect ones are the ' found ' of Lk. 19:10. these were no
better than the lost until they were found. these were atheists, God
haters, people haters, arrogant, puffed up with pride reprobates
unless God in His mercy called them into the sheepfold of the Good
Shepherd, Jesus Christ, freely giving them all His promises.

with that calling comes renewal. a new person is said to be
re-created in his heart by God Himself. this is what the Father
wants... for His chosen ones to know Him. Jn. chapter 17.

the assurance of salvation becomes apparent immediately. Ro. 8:16

the lost do not want to be saved any more than the inhabitants of
earth who would not, of their own free will, get aboard the Ark...
they do not want to be saved anymore than those recorded in
Acts 13:14-48. it is the foolish preaching of the lost to offer
salvation on a take it or leave it basis. leaving salvation up to man
concludes in being washed away in the Flood.

He's not dangly until a hand rots free.

Does it count if the spear hole splits and there is an abdominal
cascade?
