mass brain washing is easily promoted by cartoons.

Wikipedia.com posts that brain washing consists in the following explanation on
their site :

" Brainwashing (also known as thought reform or re-education) consists of any
effort aimed at instilling certain attitudes and beliefs in a person --- beliefs
sometimes unwelcome or in conflict with the person's prior beliefs and knowledge, in
order to affect that individual's value system and subsequent thought-patterns and
behaviors. "

the Evolution cartoon shows describe things that never could happen if the brain
washed person would think for himself. no cartoon show nor rhetoric from an incest
monger like Darwin could ever convince an intelligent person that he is nothing more
than a better ape he sees in a zoo.

yet, the value system of the Evolutionist didn't need much of a push to get him to
substitute Creation, which he sees all around him, to a system of ape lineage which
he doesn't see all around him... after all, to be an ape the ape had to come from
something else which came from something else... all the way back to the Evolutionist
being brain washed into thinking life came from elements never alive out of absolute
sterility.

and they call Creationists " ignorant. "

the facts in the case are simple and direct... the Law of God is written on
everyone's heart ( Ro. 2:14-16 ) and everyone knows there is a God. ( Ro. 1:18-21 )
man is terrified to fall into the hands of the Living God ( Heb. 10:31 ) because he
has received the truth, spurned it, and is awaiting Judgement. Heb.10: 26-31

Why do you care what other people think?

Your view is concedered bizarre in alt.athiesm so why post here? Your
arguments are so weak that they could be counter-argued by a well educated 7
year old.

Are you just posting to gain browny points from your friends in
alt.talk.creationism?

I suspect that Joe had been brainwashed in part by Bible cartoons, some
of which can be found here.

Matter of fact, the first one on the website contains elements that are
so close to Joe's rant that one might almost suspect he used it as a
template for his post.

I doubt OMJ has to nous to be able to do that. He probably copied it
from someone else who used it as a template.

Sounds exactly like what creationists try to do to their own children (and
want to do to everyone else's).

Creationist values: Lie. If that doesn't work, lie again. If that still
doesn't work, lie some more.

Funny, how you would post this.
This is EXACTLY what the religious do to their kids.

Brainwashing/religious indoctrination.
That's why YOUR religion is 'right' and all the other religions are
'wrong'. It isn't that you use evidence or reason to make this
conclusion, you come to it because you were BRAINWASHED to believe it.

TADA!

No brainwashing needed here, it was pretty obvious that the religionist at
school were talking BS by the age of 10/12 and that was at a time when the
ultimate in cartoons on the television was Bill and Ben or for the more
adventurous Muffin the Mule.

Speaking of cartoons, the Flinstones was not a documentary about
